What Your Mind's Warning Lights Are Really Telling You (Don't Panic!)
Is your mind like a car's dashboard, flashing up warning lights and causing panic? When those internal lights go off, we often wonder: Is this an existential crisis? Is it terminal? Do I need a therapist immediately?
Just like the confusing alerts on a car, our thinking has a way of tricking us into worst-case scenarios. We often project things into our reality that simply aren't real! Trust me, I've been there.
Here's the Truth: We are just experiencing our thoughts through our momentary feelings. Those internal warning lights are not indicative of the truth or reality but rather reflect the state or quality of our thinking at that moment.
That's all. Nothing less and absolutely no more!
In this video, I share a personal insight I had when my car dashboard lights all came on at once and repeated the 'problem' on every trip. It turned out to be a simple sensor fault that triggered every other alarm.
This is a powerful metaphor for how our thinking works;sometimes a "faulty sensor" in our mind triggers alerts that we don't need to pay attention to.
If you are tired of paying too much attention to the warning indicators your imagination projects daily, this video is for you.
