Are You a man 50+ years old?
There's a quiet challenge a lot of men over 50 are navigating right now, and almost nobody is talking about it.
You find yourself looking in the mirror asking, 'Who am I when I'm not producing? What is my purpose now?'
The pressure to keep pretending you have it all figured out when you feel completely unanchored inside is exhausting.
When this happens, our default setting as men is to try and 'fix' it. We look for a new project, we overthink it, or we just bottle it up and push through.
Here's my take as a 50+ guy: the identity you built for the first half of your life was based on what the outside world expected of you. But this second half of life requires a completely different way of navigation.
What is that way, a more effortless approach to thriving and having blast in the years that remain; purposeful, fulfilling without the neediness of external validation?
